cryotempo-eolis in action
The following examples demonstrate elevation change time series over glaciers and ice sheets using the CryoTEMPO-EOLIS gridded product.
Svalbard
The CryoTEMPO-EOLIS gridded product is used over the Austfonna ice cap (Svalbard) to show the elevation change over the last decade at multiple locations. An increase in elevation changes is observed on Basin 3, which coincides with the glacier surge.
Greenland
In this animation the CryoTEMPO-EOLIS product is used over Greenland to show elevation changes for different parts of Jakobshavn glacier over the last decade.
Antarctica
Five locations on the Antarctic ice sheet are shown, exploring the change in their elevation from 2011-2019.
Iceland
On the Vatnajökull ice cap in Iceland, the time series from the gridded CryoTEMPO-EOLIS product shows seasonal variations, with thickening during the winter/spring months and thinning during the summer months.
