Seamless Annual Gridded Product

Product Overview

The CryoTEMPO-EOLIS seamless gridded product is a annual Digital Elevation Model, on a 500m grid in polar stereographic coordinates. It combines an aggregation of both the EOLIS Thematic point product, and the CryoTEMPO Land Ice POCA dataset, over the full year (centred on July). Data gaps are filled using multiple interpolation methods.

  • Platform & Acquisition: CryoSat-2 SARIn mode (EOLIS), CryoSat-2 LRM Mode (CLI POCA)
  • Geographic Coverage: Greenland Ice Sheet
  • Temporal Coverage – Baseline 3: currently 2025 only. Full backprocessing of the CryoSat-2 time period is underway.
  • Temporal Resolution: Annual
  • Spatial Resolution: 500m
  • Data Format: NetCDF
  • Data Contributors: Noel Gourmelen, Livia Jakob, Carolyn Michael, Jerome Bouffard, Alessandro Di Bella, Sophie Dubber, Sarah Appleby, Andrea Incatasciato.
